Miguel, Coordinator of the Treasury Area of Fundación Desafío Levantemos Chile, says that the “submission process was quite anecdotal, since in Desafío an Excel spreadsheet was used, to which all the receipts were attached. To each person was given an envelope, with the total number of renditions made and the corresponding amount.
 
They arrived at Rindegastos, seeking to facilitate the expense reporting process, since each ticket had to be reviewed one by one, to see that it was not duplicated, taking a lot of It took time to complete the process, which was quite archaic. Nicolas Canales, Social Director of the company, comments that:
 
”Tickets were deleted, creating a big problem when paying, since they had to do it from the office, with Rindegastos, this stopped being a problem.”

Reports took between 7 to 10 days, currently with Rindegastos the complete process takes 2 to 3 days maximum. The test time lasted 15 days, seeing which they were the policies that were going to be permanently implemented on the platform. For Miguel, as a reviewer and approver it is ”spectacular, because I can do it anywhere, from a computer or cell phone, add users, modify policies, allowing especially with the pandemic, work from any part, including the personnel who are in the field“.

What do users perform the most?

Currently there are around 65 users who submit expenses. The most frequent submissions are from the per diem area, considering food, lodging and minor expenses , as are the tolls for each of the trips they make.
 
The additional time that it has generated for Miguel is considerable, because what used to take a whole morning now takes 20 minutes, helping his related tasks in the treasury area, such as reconciliations of bank accounts. Without considering the benefit of saving paper by using Rindegastos, not only in economic terms, but also the environmental impact.

Results

In all the points to touch, the implementation has been a success, it has generated efficiencies in time, even on audits, since, by giving them access, they themselves corroborate that all the information is correct. It makes it easier the word that Miguel decided to use to describe the process that makes Rindegastos.
